Built in 1890, The Arcade is one of Cleveland's best-known landmarks and has an international reputation as one of the finest buildings of its type. Modeled after the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, The Arcade was designed by John M. Eisenmann and George H. Smith and was one of America's first indoor shopping malls.
